Never take your PC apart to put new things in when you not sure that you can put it back together again. I spend hours yesterday to find out why my pc was only beeping instead auf booting. According to the peeping sequence there was a problem with the graphic board. But I did not touch that! Because various internet forums told me I removed the graphic board, cleaned it and put it in again. Nothing - still beeping instead of booting. Next I removed everything that was new and tried again, no booting just beeping. By that time I decided to go into the kitchen and finish dinner. About an hour later I tried again. I was close to accept the fact that I have to buy a new computer when I found out that I didn’t put the RAM correctly in. Pfffft.

A couple of week ago my friend amayi said “I bought all season of The West Wing. Do you want to watch it, it’s really good.”
I trust her judgement and I know the show won a lot of awards so I said ok, I try it.
And I love it. There is not one character I don’t like. I even have trouble naming a favourite. Ok, it’s C.J. or Josh or Leo, no Sam or better Abby or the president or… You see my problem.
It’s funny, it’s suspenseful and what I never would have expected – It made me cry, twice so far. First when the grandpa-senator talked for hours to stop some health-finance-thingy. And when the Bartlet administration finds out he dose this because of one of his grandchildren they sabotage there own work and come to his aid. And second, in the season 2 finale, when the president talked to the dead Mrs. Landingham.
This evening I start with season 3 – Can’t wait.
The only thing that is a little unnerving – in a good way - is all the guest actors. It seems to me that everyone who is a known face on TV today guest stared on this show. And I end up trying to remember where I know that face from.
The only thing I stop watching The West Wing for is Lost. I never thought I could feel sorry for Ben Linus.
Some how I think The Sopranos will swoop me off my feet next. All the signs are there. Like The West Wing I heard only good things about it, it won a lot of awards, but the premise is not really my cup of tea so I never watched it.
